-- Deckard, Blade Runner

In this chapter we’re going to learn how we can generate high resolution images with Stable Diffusion using a variety of techniques in A1111. For those unfamiliar, resolution means how many pixels make up our image. The more pixels in the same space, the more clear the image will appear. For most practical cases we’ll want high resolution images to be generated for a variety of reasons:

  • Generally just look crisper.
  • Essential for viewing at full size on high resolution displays.
  • Required for complex image editing.
  • Essential for anything that requires printing.
