Part 4. Managing BPMN 2.0 processes

In this last, brief part, we step back from developing new process definitions and focus on the remaining components that are important to understand when you want to run the Activiti Engine in a production environment. In chapter 15, we’ll talk about the Activiti database model in order to understand the foundation of the Activiti Engine. We’ll also discuss process versioning and the asynchronous functionality provided by the job executor. Finally, we’ll explore how to extend the Activiti Explorer with additional management functionality.
