Using the Box repository
Manning uses Box as the official repository for all materials related to your book, including your proposal, table of contents (TOC), bio, photo, and chapters in progress. Keeping your Box folder up to date is crucial, as many people at Manning need access to these materials for editing, reviews, and launching the MEAP (Manning Early Access Program).
You will receive an invitation to your book’s Box folder. Accept this invitation promptly to avoid expiration.
Exceptions: - Google Docs: Chapters, graphics, and code for books written in Google Docs are stored in Manning’s Google Drive. - AsciiDoc: Chapters, graphics, and code for books written in AsciiDoc are stored in Manning’s internal GitLab repository. - MEAP files: All MEAP files are stored in Box, regardless of the writing tool.
