Overview of liveBook
liveBook is an online platform that allows readers and authors to access Manning books with enhanced features. Anyone with a Manning account can log in to liveBook at https://livebook.manning.com. Some content is available for free, while most is scrambled unless you own the book. Code and graphics are always visible and not scrambled, so it’s important to ensure that graphics can stand alone and code is well-annotated.
As a Manning author, you have free access to all liveBook content. Readers who own the eBook version of a Manning book will see the entire book unscrambled. If you see a “Buy” offer in the upper right corner, you do not own the book. If you see an “Upgrade with audio” offer, you own the book and can upgrade to the audio version.
Accessing liveBook
To access liveBook:
- Log into your Manning account.
- Go to your dashboard.
- Find your book and click the liveBook link.
This will open the book in the liveBook platform, where you can explore its features.
