Part 2. Building event-driven applications

Now that you know the foundations, you can use Lambda function for more interesting purposes. You’ll need a deep focus on security and an understanding of how to give functions the permissions they need to do their jobs. You’ll then learn how to use external module, libraries, and even binaries with your functions, using them from a web browser or a mobile app.

Diving deeper with Amazon Cognito, you’ll build a full authentication service and then a media-sharing application. In the last chapter of this part, you’ll look back at what you built to understand the advantages and the impacts of having an event-driven application running on a distributed architecture.
