Part 1 From Zero to Running: Aspire Fundamentals

Aspire is at its best when it shortens the distance between “it builds” and “it runs.” In this part, you’ll learn the core ideas that make that possible: how Aspire models a distributed application, how it wires projects together, and how it turns dependencies into first-class resources you can run locally with confidence.

We’ll start with the simplest possible setup and then add realism: containers, integrations, and the kinds of infrastructure every serious app needs. By the end of Part 1, you’ll have a working mental model of Aspire’s building blocks and enough hands-on familiarity to confidently “aspirify” a solution without guessing.
