11 Putting Fluent Bit into action – an Enterprise Use Case
This chapter covers
- Reviewing an enterprise use case’s needs,
- Defining how adopting Fluent Bit can be evolutionary in approach,
- Looking at the issues of multi-cloud observability,
- Connecting what we’ve learnt with the real world.
To help understand how different features of Fluent Bit can be used in a real-world context, we will link our examples to a hypothetical use case. While the use case is for a hypothetical company that we’ll call Media Management Solutions (MMS), many aspects of the example are based on real-world needs. As we describe the use case and existing challenges, we’ll identify how Fluent Bit can be applied and refer to the different chapters related to those capabilities.
As we work through the use case and explain how Fluent Bit can be applied to deliver value, we’ll refer back to the book’s chapters to see how the concepts and capabilities relevant to the need can be achieved.
