Part 1. Writing executable specifications with examples

Part 1 of this book consists of six chapters that discuss the ins and outs of writing executable specifications in Gherkin. Chapters 2 and 3 will teach you about Gherkin—the language in which you’ll write scenarios. Chapters 4 and 5 discuss the art of writing a special kind of scenario called a scenario outline, as well as choosing good examples. Chapters 6 and 7 talk about what happens when a specification is “finished,” explain its life cycle, and go into depth about creating a living documentation system.
