Managing multiple instances using Utility Control Point

SQL Server 2008 R2 introduced Utility Control Point, which provides multiserver management with a dashboard view. UCP provides a generic view of SQL Server–related resource usage including overutilized and underutilized resources for managed instances and data-tier applications. CPU utilization, storage utilization, and policy details for all managed instances are included with UCP.
