Getform is a hosted form-backend service. It provides an endpoint—a web address that receives submitted form data, processes it, and sends submissions to your email. You can also monitor submissions in its Inbox. section 8.2 section 8.2.2
Set up a basic Getform workflow:
- Create and verify a Getform account. section 8.2.1
- Create a form endpoint with a descriptive name and selected time zone, then copy its address. section 8.2.2
- Use the endpoint as the form’s action and set the method to POST. section 8.3.1
- Check the Inbox or your email for submitted data. section 8.2.2
Event signup form
Configure the form like this: <form action="your-Getform-endpoint" method="POST">. Give each control a name attribute so Getform can identify submitted fields, and include a hidden honeypot field: <input type="hidden" name="_gotcha" style="display:none !important">. If a spam bot fills that hidden field, Getform discards the submission. section 8.3.1 section 8.5.1
The free tier offers one endpoint and up to 50 submissions per month, while adding Getform branding to submission emails. Paid plans are available when those limits matter. section 8.2
