LangFlow

As explained in Hugging Face in Action

Langflow is a visual tool for prototyping applications built around large language models and related components.

LangFlow is an open-source, drag-and-drop visual interface for building LangChain applications around large language models. It supports low-code experimentation and lets you preview applications without writing the entire workflow manually. section 8.0 section 8.1

Use LangFlow to:

  • Create flows by connecting components instead of assembling every LangChain call in code. section 8.0 section 8.5
  • Build question-answering applications over personal data with file, parsing, model, prompt, input, and output components. section 8.3
  • Expose a completed project through cURL, Python, JavaScript, generated Python code, or embeddable chat-widget HTML. section 8.4

Run LangFlow locally

Install it with pip, launch the web application, and open http://127.0.0.1:7860. The default web port is 7860; version 1.0.18 can be pinned when installation conflicts occur. section 8.1.1

$ pip install langflow

Use the installation command as the starting point for a local LangFlow setup; Docker and cloud alternatives are also available. section 8.1.1 section 8.1.2 section 8.1.3

How Hugging Face in Action covers it

How deep it goes
Explains installation, component composition, own-data question answering, and integration options, but stops short of implementation internals.
Examples
Demonstrates local pip setup, Docker deployment, Hugging Face community flows, and question answering over personal data.
What it assumes
Assumes basic Docker familiarity for container deployment, while offering pip and cloud paths that avoid Docker.
What you can do after
Build LangChain flows visually, run them locally or in the cloud, and call or embed them programmatically.
How it connects
Connects LangChain, large language models, prompt templates, data parsing, APIs, Docker, and web application embedding.
